Analyst – Procurement

The Procurement Analyst will look after the accurate and timely conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders.

Job Summary

  • Accurate and timely conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders
  • Timely release of purchase orders to vendors and ensuring that vendors acknowledge receipt of purchase orders and on time delivery of requirements
  • Creation of vendor master data inside ERP without duplication and of contract or purchasing information accurately.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Management

  1. Converts purchase requisitions to purchase orders accurately and on a timely manner
  2. Monitors open purchase orders and conducts research for reason of non-closure and follows up vendors if necessary
  3. Dispatches purchase orders to vendors on a timely manner
  4. Creates vendor information inside the system without duplication
  5. Creates purchase info record accurately inside the system
  6. Ensure that all transactions comply with Citadel Pacific Ltd. (CPL) procurement policies and procedures and meets legal, statutory audit and internal control requirement
  7. Provide support for resolving vendor queries
  8. Supports month-end closing activities and ensures compliance with the month-end closing timeline
  9. Assist the OPCOS Procurement team and the SSC Finance team in the resolution of disputes with the vendors
  10. Build relationship of trust with customer, and other team members
  11. Comply with other instruction as directed

Performance & Service Management

  • Executes work in accordance with the service management framework by providing timely and accurate customer service.
  • Coordinates and manages communication channels and helpdesk tickets related to Invoice processing status.
  • Ensure build and implementation of best practices.


  • Graduate of a four year course, preferably accountancy or business related
  • Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in procurement and/or supply chain functions.
  • Computer literate with advanced excel skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the procurement and/or supply chain processes
  • Good negotiation, complex procurement issues skills
  • Broad Procurement and Vendor Management knowledge and strong financial knowledge
  • Strong influence and impact
  • Able to establish credibility with internal/external customer
  • Enhanced analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Procure to Pay process
